I have been meaning to write something new for a few days now. Life just has been busy and exhausting. My sister is doing SO much better! She was moved from ICU almost a week ago. She is still at the hospital and today was her first day with no treatments. It's been almost two weeks of dialysis and plasmapheresis. They were waiting for her labs to improve before taking a break to see if her body kicks in and does what it is supposed to. We know it will . . . she's a strong gal! Thank you to all of our friends and family who have been keeping her in your thoughts and prayers. She is in good spirits and grateful for unbelievable support. And the medical staff that has been taking care of her is phenomenal!
We are doing well. Jeremiah had his first interview in almost two months this week. Yeah! It went well and he would love to have the opportunity to work for this company (they are located on Fort Lewis). They are still interviewing and said they would call in a week or two.
So we will continue with our plans . . . He leaves on Monday for Las Vegas where he will continue looking for employment. Plus, he will take care of a few things at our house. We are not sure what the Lord has in store for us, but want to make sure we follow any and all promptings. This trip is a direct result of continued fasting and prayer. Since the house has been on the market for six months and we still haven't found work here, we thought it would be wise to consider moving back. We're not sure what he will find. There could be a job there, or not. If nothing else, we will have removed the "what if" scenario.
Life stays pretty busy for me too. The girls have stayed in their schools even though we have moved 30 minutes south. The school district is helping us with transportation. Annalyce get's picked up at 8 a.m. by a district van and I take Peyton up to preschool at noon, volunteer my time at either the preschool or the elementary school (where I'm still PTA President) and then pick both girls up and drive them home. We then do homework and violin, eat dinner and go to bed. It's a long day, but it's best for the girls for now.
We know that we are not the only ones struggling at this time and are very grateful for the many blessing we have received. We continue to have positive thoughts and find hope in knowing that the Lord is watching out for us.

I'm so glad your sister is doing well. I'm also thrilled to hear that interviews are coming your way. I hope that trend continues for you. I like the facial hair by the way. Before Gar was in the military he used to play around like that. His beard is red too. Anyway, love and miss you tons-
Jenn
