Mystics

Annalyce starter her first basketball season in December. Jeremiah is her coach and she is playing on a team of 3rd/4th graders. It has been an interesting adventure. She's a timid girl and playing basketball is definitely out of her comfort zone. I was a little worried the first game as I watched her run back an forth without a clue what was happening. Jeremiah talked to her about playing tough defense and she's gotten pretty good at that! She forgets to keep her eye on the ball though. She was hit in the head with the ball at one of the games and couldn't understand why. Goofy girl! She's had the opportunity to be point guard a couple of times and is pretty good handling the ball. She gets easily intimidated by the girls who are more agressive or have played before. She's got a lot to learn, but it's been fun seeing her out there on the court. We hope this is just the beginning of her love for basketball.
